Notecards show A New View of Saint Luke's
We proudly announce a new addition to our series of St. Luke's note cards,
an exuberant watercolor by local artist Robert Newick.
The vibrant colors
lend themselves to fall and Christmas correspondence, and the artist has
donated the work for the benefit of St. Luke's building and grounds.
The
note cards are on sale in the Parish Office, and in the Parish Hall on Sundays,
at the same price as our other cards (packet of 8 for $10). Check them out!
Robert Newick, now residing at the Los Gatos Meadows after a long career in
the arts and graphic design, has led local groups in plein air [outdoor]
painting of views and landmarks in San Jose and Los Gatos. He has shown his
watercolors in dozens of shows in the Midwest and California, most recently
in Los Gatos 'Touch my Heart' and Plein Air events, and is a long time
member of the Los Gatos Art Association and the California Art Association.
