* Support Saint Luke's through your Pledge *
Members of Saint Luke's Church support the operation and activities of the church community through a yearly pledge commitment. The pledge you make is your personal commitment to the work of the church in our community and in the wider world. Pledge commitments are personal and private. The historical pledge was the "tithe" which was interpreted as a 10% commitment. Today we interpret the pledge as the financial part of your gift to the church of time, talent and treasure which together are your "tithe" for Saint Luke's. We are thankful for any amount that you feel comfortable to give.
When you make a pledge and want to fulfill your contributions on a regular basis, you may request pledge envelopes to make your weekly contributions easy to remember. Many of our members set up automatic contributions. The pledge payments are automatically made for you through pre-authorized credit card payments made monthly, quarterly or annually.
New pledging members are always welcome! If you would like to support our work in the community and learn more about making a pledge Stewardship Packets and pledge cards are available on the table in the Narthex. You can also contact the Parish Office for more information about pledging and/or to receive envelopes.
All pledges are gratefully accepted.
* Altar Flowers *
The flowers on our altar each week are the result of a gift to the church. This is an opportunity to contribute to the beauty of the service while remembering people special in your life. Flowers can be given in memory of a loved one or in Thanksgiving for a person, an event or any other occasion.
The flower chart where you can sign up to sponsor the flowers for
a Sunday is behind the gate in the narthex.
Flowers cost $55.
Note: It is acceptable to have more than one person sign up on a particular Sunday!
The office will contact you when your flower sponsorship is close and it is time to send your payment. No payment is necessary until then.
