SUMMARY:Diocesan Advent Retreat
DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join others from around the diocese for our annual Advent Retreat. This year, the venue closest to St. Luke’s will host the retreat on  Saturday, December 14th, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at St. Francis’ in Willow Glen (San Jose). Registration deadline is 12:00 pm Wednesday, Dec. 11. The theme this year is “Encountering Emmanuel,” and there will be both large group and small group discussions, as well as personal time (for things like walking or journaling), and we will begin and end with worship. Lunch will be offered; there is a suggested $10 donation to cover the cost of lunch, but this is not required. In the busyness of this time of year, it’s easy to overlook the spiritual nourishment that this season provides, but sometimes it’s when we are most busy that we most need care for our souls.\nThe registration deadline is Wednesday morning, December 11.\nRegister HERE.\n
