September Outreach Project: SMUM

Our Outreach Team’s September Project is a visit to Santa Maria Urban Ministry (SMUM), to help pack, process, and distribute food and clothing at their site in San Jose. All are encouraged to join in the effort that day, Tuesday, September 23, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. SMUM is a ministry of our diocese, serving hundreds of people each week by providing food, clothes, tax-filing assistance, and other services to neighborhood families in need.

Please let Fr. Bill Stafford know by September 18 if you can attend, so that SMUM can plan projects for our visit. Our morning ends with lunch cooked by their staff!
