PACT Presentation on Immigration

Mark your calendars for St. Luke’s January outreach event, which will focus on immigration and how to serve our immigrant neighbors. Ruby Ramirez from People Acting in Community Together (PACT) will join us for coffee hour after the 10:00 liturgy for a presentation on immigration. As a parish, we’ll have the opportunity to decide whether we would like a follow-up event with a more particular focus on how we can get more involved.

Immigration is a pressing issue around the world today, and especially in our country. It’s easy to misunderstand the complexities of our immigration system and its laws, making it especially important for us to have a responsible and accurate understanding of the landscape.
